Manage VM ports
Introduction
This guide explains how to manage ports on deployments already done.
Important
INFN Cloud has a clearly defined list of open ports (see reference in the Networking section). The opening of any port that is not present in the above mentioned list must be formally requested through the INFN Cloud ServiceDesk.
Prerequisites
The user has to be registered in the IAM system for INFN-Cloud https://iam.cloud.infn.it/login and have already a delployment.
Selection of the Deployment
Select among the deployments the one you intend to modify, click on the button with the arrow near "Details" and select "Manage Ports":

By clicking on "Manage Ports" the tab with all the ports regarding the selected deployment will be displayed. In this tab it is possible delete a port by clicking on the red coloured botton "Delete" or adding new port by clicking on "ADD PORT +" button placed on the right corner as showed in the following:
Note
Please note that all deployments have ports 22, 80 and 443
open by default.
Add port
A menu is available, as in the figure below:
Some of the parameters listed are mandatory, therefore you need to specify their value. By clicking on "RULE*" it is possible to select the type to rule to apply by choosing among the custom or predefined rules:
For example if one set a HTTPS rule in the list, the panel will appear as:
Then by clicking on the blue coloured button "ADD PORT +", the port will be created and added in the list of the ports for the deployment.
